Korean Red Cross _ "Crossed Paths"

The Korean Red Cross hosts an annual competition to encourage the public to participate in blood donation.
Inspired by the motif of the Red Cross, which consists of two red stripes, I interpreted these as representing two paths and the meeting between two people: a donor and a recipient. When individuals decide to donate blood, they often cannot fully grasp the impact they are making on the world. They donate because it is a kind act for others, and I wanted create an opportunity for donors to visualize the significant change they are making, saving lives, as their paths cross with those of others.
The work was shortlisted.
